Moments... When the face smiles And hides that clot in the throat Moments When the eyes flinch shut, And avoid feeling the stomach knot Moments When the urge is to escape all boundaries Yet feet stay frozen in the spot Moments When the feelings are deep But words are a few When the memories don’t sleep And keep me with you It’s then that I realise how I have loved and lived Waiting and watching Each moment just pass through To live but not to feel As feeling is all I have lost with you
